<GW124>지속가능한 지구 생태계를 만드는 퍼머컬처 / Permaculture for a Sustainable Global Ecosystem

======== English explanation ==========
✅ Farm Introduction
Our farm is operated using permaculture methods, practicing no-till and pesticide-free farming. Since around 1990, we have been running a nature-based learning farm for kindergarten children. Even now, once a week, kindergarten kids visit our farm to participate in gardening activities. We believe that through these experiences, children can naturally understand the importance of the environment.
In 2014, I started operating a campsite on a part of our farm, and now we also run a weekend farm.
Our goal is to transform this farm into a permaculture town that integrates camping, farming, education, and a local market. We see ourselves as temporary stewards of the forest, borrowing its space rather than exploiting it. That’s why we strive to avoid any activities that could harm the ecosystem for human benefit.
We hope to share these values and connect with WWOOFers who enjoy various activities in the forest while embracing sustainable living.

My experience at ODLA was really wonderful. Easton is very accommodating and the lifestyle at ODLA is beyond comfortable. While the work varies from day to day, it’s always really manageable and we got days off and lots of time to explore Wonju. Easton also took us to Seoul to help with the agriculture expo and to a festival in a nearby city, which was really awesome. I recommend ODLA to anyone who is interested in taking a break and relaxing at a beautiful place.

The privilege of spending a full month at ODLA Farm is quite a transformative experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and inviting. The host genuinely embodies the true spirit of WWOOF — offering not just a place to stay and work, but an environment that nurtures personal growth, cultural exchange, and a deep connection with nature.
The farm itself is peaceful and beautifully maintained, providing a wonderful balance of meaningful work, learning opportunities, and quiet reflection. For example, harvesting pumpkins, cooking pumpkin porridge, and then serving ODLA campers — each activity felt purposeful and deeply rewarding.
The host truly supports woofers on every level — through thoughtful guidance, open communication, and genuine care for their well-being. Witnessing his compassion and patience as he supported other woofers through their own challenges made me even more grateful and appreciative to be hosted here.
My time at ODLA Farm was restorative, educational, and inspiring. I never wanted to leave, but I departed with new skills, a deeper appreciation for sustainable living, and heartfelt memories I’ll carry with me for a long time. If I could, I wouldn’t recommend ODLA Farm to anyone — it’s such a hidden gem, I’d selfishly keep it to myself! But for those seeking an authentic and truly supportive WWOOFing experience in Korea, ODLA Farm is absolutely a gem worth sharing.

This was my first WWOOFing experience, and I couldn’t have hoped for a better one. I stayed for three months, and the time passed so quickly because it was such a wonderful place. Everyone is kind and welcoming, and the farm truly feels like a little paradise with many cute animals , and every day felt warm and joyful.
The work schedule is : 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. The tasks are varied and interesting, so you can learn a lot.
The accommodation has everything you need, and the kitchen is well equipped too. Easton is very kind, understanding, and considerate, always adapting to everyone’s dietary needs and making sure that everyone feels comfortable and cared for.
All the people working on the farm are amazing. Each one has something unique to teach, and together they create a warm and friendly atmosphere that feels like a big family.
I am very grateful for this first experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to WWOOF in Korea !

Easton is an incredible host. He is kind, attentive, considerate, flexible and adaptable, and he was honestly a joy to work with and for.
The ODLA farm (and all its various attached facilities) is beautiful, serene, welcoming, and picturesque. All of the staff that Easton has helping him on the farm are warm, open, and friendly. The dormitories are well equipped and maintained, and comfortable, with modern facilities and amenities.
Easton has built an environment where it is ideal to be a WWOOFer, and his positive energy and can-do attitude is really at the heart of its success.
My only regret is that I was there for a very short two weeks! If I could go back in time, I would want to WWOOF at ODLA for a month!
