✅Introduction to the Host and the Farm :
After working intensely in the social contribution field in Seoul, I suddenly realized that I wanted to fulfill my childhood dream of becoming a farmer. So, I moved to Jeju with my family and started farming.
On our 1,500-pyeong farm, we cultivate olives and produce healthy products such as olive cider and olive soap. We also run an olive healing program.

I stayed at Jeju Olive Standard Farm for 9 days, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. During my time there, I helped with their Olive Physical Olympics Festival, which was such a fun and creative community event. Even though I worked mostly alone, I never felt lonely — the Lee family’s warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always made sure I was comfortable. They treated me like family and created a wonderful environment to learn and grow. I learned so much about olive and tangerine farming on Jeju Island — from harvesting and care to the detailed irrigation system that Mr. Lee personally explained and demonstrated (it’s quite impressive!).
The farm itself is peaceful and surrounded by the natural beauty of Jeju. It’s the perfect place for anyone who wants to connect with nature, experience genuine Korean hospitality, and learn about sustainable farming practices.
I’m deeply grateful to the Lee family for their generosity, kindness, and the memories we shared. My time at Jeju Olive Standard Farm will always hold a special place in my heart. 🌿💚

It was my very first Woofing experience and it was incredible.
The host's kindness, the Airbnb-like caravan, the countryside atmosphere, the nature walks, and the excellent Korean meals were all part of the experience!
The work was easy to do, mainly weeding and filling olive tree pots with fertilizer, but of course, you have to give it your all and work up a sweat, which is normal!
I was really proud to have accomplished the work, seeing the before and after.
I also enjoyed the humor and advice of my host, who was always there to attentively respond to my needs and questions.
I really hope my host becomes popular because he has everything he needs to succeed, with his own brand already available in different varieties: olive jam, olive tea, etc.
He loves his farm and his job. I hope he achieves his goals and dreams because he has a very good heart, makes quality products, and is ambitious!
Thank you for everything! I will cherish the wonderful memories of our meeting!

머무는 내내 즐겁고 흥미로운 생활을 했습니다
이른 아침부터 시작돼는 올리브 농장에서의 일과는 주로 잡초제거, 화분 분갈이 등의 일들을 주로 했어요. 그리고 올리브 나무에 대해 이해도 조금은 높아졌어요. 그간 소비자 입장에서 벗어나 공급자의 마인드를 조금 갖게 되었다고 할까요. 제주에서 올리브 산업을 키워나가는 이정석 호스트 님의 꿈을 응원합니다.

최린다 (Korea) : 제주도에서 올리브가 난다는 것만으로 궁금하고 신기했습니다. 제주도하면 떠오르는 농산물과 농장의 이미지가 있는데 실제 제주의 농사는 어떨지 궁금함이 많았습니다.
제주 올리브농장에 머물면서 호스트님께 피드백을 드리고 무엇보다 카라밴 숙소라는 독특한 숙소를 경험하게 되어 1번째 우퍼로 신청하게 되었습니다. 우핑을 하러 비행기를 타고 떠난다는 생각으로 먼 여행같이 느껴져 이색적이었습니다. 인사와 대화에서부터 꼼꼼하고 배려가 많은 호스트님의 성격을 짐작할 수 있었는데 지내는 동안 숙소시설 안내, 로컬 방문리스트 등 미리 준비해주신 내용 덕을 많이 봤습니다. 특히 카라반 숙소는 올리브색을 포인트로 아늑하고 깔끔하고 리모델링되어서 유럽의 에어비앤비에 놀러간듯한 기분이 들었습니다. 무엇보다 농장은 도심과 떨어져 있어서 농장의 자연 분위기를 그대로 고요하게 느낄 수 있어서 좋았습니다.
올리브 농장 주위를 정리하고 올리브 나무를 번식하기 위해 주로 취목 작업을 했습니다. 올리브 가지 중 단단한 것을 골라 마치 흙 속에 심겨있는 것처럼 속여서 번식을 시키는 방법입니다. 몇 달이 지나 취목된 올리브 나무 사진을 보내주셨는데 꽤나 보람차고 반가웠던 기억이 납니다.
