This was our first wwoofing in Korea, and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. We spent two excellent weeks at Myungsoon’s apple farm, where she took amazing care of us and was always very kind and attentive. The work was simple and varied — mostly packing apple juice, preparing boxes, small cleaning and farming tasks, preparing kimchi and compote — with clear hours and easy communication through Messenger and Papago. Our room in the annex was comfortable with heated floor. Meals cooked by Unnie were delicious every day ! We also enjoyed free time to visit the Apple Festival, explore Cheongsong, go to Daegu, hike in Juwungsan National Park, play park golf and football, and share nice moments with the family. A warm, generous, and authentic experience. We highly recommend staying with Myungsoon and her family ! Thank you very much, that was cool 👍

사장님 is compassionate, generous and charismatic and during my stay I was welcomed with a trip to Costco, invitation to church and table tennis, and offered endless amounts of yummy snacks. 남자 사장님 is diligent and business focused yet friendly. Farm work was not too labor intensive during this off season- heavily packaging apple juice alongside a few misc. farm tasks. Meals are very generous and some of the best I’ve had in Korea. I will miss this farm, the owners and the 한국시골 생활. What remains with me is the kindness and openness of this family.

Many of the wonderful things about farms that we imagine have become reality here: hardworking and kind people, comfortable accommodation, eautiful environment，fresh air, organic farm, delicious local food, harmonious coexistence of people, animals and plants, and continuous progress towards profitability and innovation. I really enjoy every day here. Mrs. Kim makes me feel like home, taking me shopping, playing table tennis, billiards （Thank you Mr.White) , and team building. I will never forget the days when I enjoyed delicious food here just like eating in a Michelin restaurant (with Richard >_<!) every day（Thank you Miss Gu ^_^). If there is another opportunity for wwoof, I will come again.

Park Soohyun (Korea) : 12월 겨울에 첫 우핑을 이 농장에서 일주일 간 했어요. 오고 갈 때 픽업을 해주셔서 정말 편하게 이동했습니다. 일주일에 6일 5시간 이내 외로 많이 힘들지 않은 사과 포장하는 일을 맡았어요. 유동적으로 근무시간을 조절해주셔서 정말 편하고 재미있게 지냈습니다. 남자 사장님께서 맛있는 사과도 많이 챙겨주시고 여자 사장님께서는 운동 좋아하는 저와 탁구를 하러 아주 좋은 체육관에 같이 가기도 했어요. 호스트님은 엄청난 탁구 실력을 보유하고 있답니다..!또한 농장에는 귀여운 강아지들과 닭, 거위, 흑염소들이 함께하기 때문에 정말 자유시간에 재밌어요. 그리고 여기 동네는 버스비가 무료예요!!!! 버스타고 주변에 시장, 목욕탕, 마트, 학교, 카페에 쉽게 갈 수 있어요. 정말 모든게 좋았던 우핑이었지만 무엇보다 음식이 정말 맛있었어요. 식사시간은 항상 고정적이고 매번 만찬을 준비해주셨습니다. (살이 쪄서 집에 돌아올 정도로요ㅎㅎ) 만약 다시 간다면 여름철에 다시 가고싶네요! 겨울 청송은 매우 추워요..근데 방은 전기장판과 온돌덕분에 따뜻합니다. 호스트님께서 정말 친절하시고 농촌에 모르는 것들을 다 잘 알려주셨어요. 멋진 사업가이자, 농부이자, 뛰어난 교육자이시기도 합니다. 매우 추천

I stayed for three weeks in July, why my main tasks were to harvest and pack the blueberries and help with some other smaller tasks on the farm. Usually I worked about six hours a day and had a day off on Sundays. The work wasn't very hard, because I enjoy being outside and moving my body. But it was quite hot in July - I recommend bringing the right clothes to protect your skin from the sun. I had my own room in a separate building on the farm and really enjoyed all the home cooked meals and fresh vegetables and fruits (it even was no problem that I am vegetarian). It was my first woofing experience, but Mrs. Kim really made sure that I feel welcome with her generous and welcoming character. She took me with her to church on Sunday, to play table tennis, drove me to a badminton club and we went to Daegu together. She and her husband don't speak English well, but with translation app and my limited Korean skills it was no problem. If I have the chance, I would love to come again and enjoy the beautiful nature and Korean culture!
