======== English explanation ==========
✅ Introduction to the Host and the Farm :
We have embarked on a new chapter as a farm. This place is not just a shelter for animals but a space to share the stories of farm animals and create a better world. Based on what we have learned from spending time with animals on a natural pasture, we now provide a new sanctuary for farm animals with nowhere else to go.
Through collaboration with KARA (Animal Rights Action), we receive professional medical support and enrichment activities for farm animals. We strive to raise public awareness and bring about social change to improve farm animal welfare.
Here, we live in harmony with nature and animals, continuing our journey towards coexistence. Our wish is for this way of life to become not extraordinary, but normal.
For us, this farm is a place where nature, animals, and humans live together. It also serves as a model for a life in harmony with nature. We hope our small daily practices inspire others to create a sustainable future beyond the climate crisis, together with nature.

Pu Yan Wong (HK) : You will love this ranch if you love animals and want to know how to care for them. If you don’t speak Korean, it may be a bit hard for you to do wwoofing here but I think language should not be a barrier to prevent you from wwoofing and learning new things. I strongly recommend you to be active in communicating with the family and they are willing to talk with you. On this ranch, as I was the only wwoofer and lived with the host family, I felt like I was doing a cultural exchange, which made the whole wwoofing experience awesome. What a hospitality that they let me sleep in their bedroom. The accommodation was very nice and clean. Every day I was served with delicious meals and the workload was light (mainly feeding animals and weeding). The host couple would work with me most of the time. I got plenty of time to rest and play with the animals. The ranch is not close to a tourist spot where you can walk to. I was happy and thankful that the host drove and brought me to 충주시 to travel around on my last half day.

WWOOFer (Australia) : After 2 months of WWOOFing in Korea, I can happily say that staying at CB108 has been the best experience so far. The host family was extremely hospitable and made a real effort to bring me to local attractions and sate my enormous appetite with a multitude of delicious home-cooked and restaurant-prepared meals. I also ended up on national TV somehow, despite not speaking Korean!
As I came in winter, the daytime work schedule was quite light and mostly involved mixing the pig feed (prior to fermentation), feeding the pigs, fertilizing the peach trees and gathering firewood and dried leaves (for the pigs to snack on). Outside of this, I was treated to visits to a water park, sauna, markets, and various other activities to keep me entertained. During evenings I was made to feel like part of the family, sharing meals and playing with the hosts' adorable son, and even teach him a little bit of English. Above all, what I appreciate most about this farm is that Yeonjae and Janghun have made a clear and conscious decision to learn about and commit themselves to sustainable and organic agriculture, driven by their own motivation. I find this very inspiring and hope to one day emulate their way of life in my own way, or at least return for a second visit!

WWOOFer (Australia) : An interesting and culturally significant farm, made complete by the team of warm, hospitable and friendly host and staff! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to all WWOOFers.
I spent most of my working days all around the farm, helping to clean and maintain the chicken areas and equipment. I could sense through the work that it was all completed with the health and comfort of the chickens and the environment in mind, which added to the satisfaction of each job. It also meant ample time to spend with the Ogye chickens and the beautiful Cheonwoo the cow. JC 형님 was always very patient in explaining everything about the work we were doing, how it ties into the rest of the farm, and even the local wildlife.
The food provided by the restaurant staff was always delicious, healthy and varied. The accommodation was very spacious and homely, with all amenities (including spare hiking and work clothes) provided for WWOOFers. On my days off, JS 형님 gave me a lift to the attractions of my choice; one day spent hiking a trail at nearby Gyeryong-san, and the other in Jeonju city full of delicious regional foods.
I will miss everything about the time that I spent here, the chickens, Cheonwoo, and most of all the amazing staff.

WWOOFer (Colombia) :
I had an amazing experience while being at the Farm. Everybody was so caring. The accommodation was fantastic and the food even more. Sue was such a nice Host, thank you so much for all your help, for inviting me to Jenjou, the farewell party. There's nothing bad about this place. The sightseen, working with the chickens and lovely Emo was wonderful and all the workers were so nice. I am really happy and I am sad I had to leave, but I hope I can come back again. Please, visit Colombia.

WWOOFer (Singapore) : This farm was my first WWOOF experience and I really enjoyed my time there! Yeonjae unnie and her family are really friendly and ensured my well-being was being taken care of. I was there during summer but it rained for a few days so the workload was quite light; mainly fed the cows and pigs, moved some logs, removed some weeds from the gardens, and went to a factory to purchase bulks of ingredients to make pig food. There were quite a lot of free time everyday and the host family even brought me to a sauna! I was the only WWOOFer at that time so I had one whole room to myself but sometimes the host kid will drop by with a book and ask me to read to him (he's too cute!). All my meals were provided and they were either really nice home cooked food, or they would bring me to a restaurant. I could speak some Korean so language barrier wasn't too big a problem, but for those who cannot speak Korean at all, it might be a little more troublesome. Overall I would really 10/10 recommend this host to everyone!!!
