======== English explanation ==========
✅ Introduction to the Host and the Farm :
I moved to the countryside in 2004 and started farming to produce red pepper , which is the most essential ingredient in Korean cuisine. Our main crop is chili peppers .
The farm is located in a quiet area , a bit away from the village.
We live a simple and modest rural life in Korea . Besides farming, we make traditional Korean fermented foods such as doenjang (fermented soybean paste), gochujang (red chili paste), and kimchi every year.
If you come at the right time, you will have the opportunity to experience making traditional Korean foods .
Rather than offering something particularly special, we welcome those who simply want to experience the daily life of an ordinary Korean farm .
During your stay, you will have a comfortable place to sleep, healthy food , and the chance to live like family.

Could not ask for a better WWOOFing experience. I have WWOOFed before and this is honestly the best farm I have stayed at. The hosts are two of the kindest and most generous people you will ever meet. I learned so much about Korean culture and they would often take me to see historical and cultural events and sites. The work is not demanding and the food is fantastic. Could not recommend this farm enough :)

I visited the farm for 2 weeks in May. The farm is located in a valley like area with a river nearby. I usually worked in the morning and afternoon; after lunch there was I break so I could avoid the midday heat. During work we mainly prepared the field for the growing pepper plants. One afternoon we also followed the river into the forest to look for natural plants and enjoyed nature.
During freetime the Host(s) took great effort to show me around all the sights in the area and even took me to meet their friends. We visited a Temple in the mountains, a traditional garden and more.
Although the communication was not always straightforward because of the language barrier the Host(s) always took their time to explain everything in a way I could understand. We made music together (풍물놀이), watched drama and they even taught me some Korean games. If you are lucky and come at the right time, you might even be able to meet some cute baby chickens.

WWOOFer (USA) : This is a great family to spend time WWOOFing with!
I came in November, so the work was mainly de-stemming chili peppers and cleaning up the farms. We also harvested perilla seeds. There was also a party where I cooked foreign foods for the family and the son's friends. We had a lot of fun.
Though the family can communicate in English (the son basically fluent), I was studying Korean, and the parents were so patient with me stumbling over my words. They were also very patient with me while working. Honestly, they are such kind and welcoming people. I am really happy and honored to have been able to stay with them.
I highly recommend WWOOFing here!

WWOOFer (HK) : It was a really lovely family and a nice place to visit. I have stayed there for 2 weeks and that was a of the best 2-week-time of my life. I have experienced a lot about how a korean family live, especially with their son there so we got to play some games and watch World Cup together. The family was very friendly and we have done much on culture exchanging.
They have taught me a lot on farming skills and I have chances to do some hands-on but not too much on the field. I definitely would say harvesting pepper is the most interesting thing out of all!
3 meals a day are mostly provided by auntie, sometimes with me helping but just because I enjoying cooking. The food was absolutely amazingly delicious. I really do appreciate the effort she was giving to make me have a try on most of the Korean famous dishes. They did provide me chances to go visiting some nearby touristy places, including Andong Mask Village and a hiking spot.
I strongly recommend WHOOFers to visit this lovely family as well as their beautiful farm. Thank you for your hosting throughout 2 weeks, I wish I can come back some time.
