Staying in Mr.Kim farm was one of the most awesome experiences. You are not just learning about life you are going beyond that and sometimes the work seems to be a bit tiring but in the end you are so glad about everything you did.
I am so so grateful to Mr. & Mrs.Kim they made you feel like it is your own home. It was a lovely stay with a lot of music and a lot of watermelon. I loved it there and of course I need to mention the food because it was incredibly good. So fresh and so so tasty. Thank you so much to Mr.&Mr.Kim they made my stay wholesome.
I will never forget about the lessons Mr.Kim taught me. And I try to enjoy life as he does every second of his life. I am really happy that I had the chance to go to their farm. This is the real deal and I appreciate it so much. Wonderful hosts and a wonderful farm.Thank you again!

I spent two wonderful weeks at this farm and would definitely recommend it. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and next to a river, perfect for peaceful walks. The house is spacious, and woofers have the entire second floor to themselves (bathroom included). It was very comfortable, and I slept incredibly well.
Uncle and Aunty were warm and welcoming. Aunty, who’s currently taking cooking classes at a local high school, still found time to cook delicious and varied meals, often bringing back home homemade bread.
Work was split due to the heat: 6:30–9:30 AM and 4–6 PM, which left a nice long break in between. Tasks included feeding animals, weeding, gardening, or helping with projects like making a table or digging trenches to plant vegetables. Some days were physically demanding, and being the only woofer made things a bit harder. Although I had only one day off the first week (Sunday), I got two and a half days off the second week thanks to the rainy weather.
You’re treated like family and share meals together, but also have plenty of time to relax on your own.
Things to know: Uncle and Aunty are slow to reply on the platform, I think they check it like once a week so message early. Since they’re slow to reply, I was worried about the pick-up, but Aunty was waiting at the station, just make sure they have your arrival time ^^
Overall, it was a great experience and I’d gladly go back. I came on a friend’s recommendation, and now I’m passing it on!

I really enjoyed the two weeks i spend at the farm with Heonsik and his wife!
Initially, I had some trouble getting in touch with Heonsik to arrange my pickup at the train station, so I didn't quite know what to expect when I arrived. All my worries were put to shame - he was waiting for me at the station and from there on everything went smoothly.
Since they didn't speak much English and I didn't speak much Korean we mainly communicated using translation apps. This worked surprisingly well as Heonsik and his wife were both very patient and willing to share things about themselves and teach me about korean language and culture.
I only have good things to say about Heonsik and his wife who treated me with so much kindness and made me feel very welcome in there home. On my day off, they took me to their church and took me seightseeing in a nearby town - it was such a lovely day.
The entire top floor of the house is reserved for WWOOFers - it is very spacious, clean and with a beatiful view.
The food was very good; homemade and with fresh produce straight from the farm. I got to try many delicious korean foods.
Most of the time, I worked alongside Heonsik, assisting him with the various tasks that needed to be done around the farm. The work was varied and manageble. I especially enjoyed milking the goats.
The work was often more that five hours a day but the pace was very chill and there were plenty of breaks.
I highly recommend this farm and hope to be coming back soon!

I had the most amazing experience in Amara Valley. Before coming I had just spend 4 months in Seoul and I needed some time in the countryside, away from the overstimulating city life. This place was perfect for that.
I didn't find the job too difficult. Somedays it was a little tiring but never exhausting. (I'm used to physical work so maybe I'm a little biased here) Everyday was different and I had the opportinity to try and discover many activities : taking care of the goats, planting different kinds of crops, helping cut pine-tree, preparing the soil for the crops, cuting woods, buildings a pergola, picking vegetables in the forest...
I knew just a little korean and the hosts speak a little english so most of the conversation were made using translating app. During work if you follow, observe and imitate, everything can go very smoothly without big explanation.
There are 2 towns near the farm with convenience stores if you need to buy stuffs. You can go there in 30minutes by walk. The river nearby is perfect to take a stroll, the scenery is really beautiful. I had the chance to go (and participate) to a festival in a city nearby : I for sure never have done that by myself!
Don't worry about the food : everything is fresh and delicious! Almost everything is homemade : the bread, the yoghurt, the milk, the vegetables, the banchan, the kimchi...
Thank you again for the month I spend here and I will come back for sure !
