This was my first wwoof experience and it exceeded my expectations by far. From the first moment I met Okjin until we had to part ways again, she made me feel like a part of her family and welcomed me with open arms. I also got to spend time with her other family members and met a few people from the village. They were all very patient, friendly and helped me practice my korean. ^^ The work itself was not hard, I especially enjoyed working with the chickens, as well as chatting with Okjin and learning songs together. In our free time Okjin took me to different cafes, a blueberry festival, the ocean and to a Pansori class. We also went bird watching and sewing. One of the highlights for me was definitely the home cooked food. It was so delicious and i also learned how to make Kimbap. I am so thankful for everything and I am glad that I got the opportunity to live and work together with Okjin!! She was always so understanding, kind and had such a bright and open personality. Spending time on this farm was one of the best things I experienced in Korea and I already want to go back. ㅠㅠ I would recommend this farm to everyone who wants to experince new things every day and make unforgettable beautiful memories ^^

We were Okjin's first wwoofers and she was our first host. We had an amazing week with Okjin and her fiance. They quickly made us feel at home and feed us beautiful home-cooked Korean food (and taught us some recipes). The first two days were too cold (snowing) for working outside so Okjin took the opportunity to show us around her hometown and surrounding area. On work days we still did activities in and around the area, bird watching, sewing, trying locals cafes. We meet family and were warmly greeted. We planted alot of trees on the hillside which was hard work but rewarding to see our efforts at the end of the day. Okjin is a positive and free spirited person, taking each day as they come. We will always cherish our memories made at her farm. We would definitely recommend her to be a host for other woofers in the future.
