농사 짓고 연극 짓는 이상직입니다. 국립극단에서 배우로 활동하고 2010년 귀농하였습니다. 일과 놀이, 삶과 예술이 함께하는 공간을 만들어 가고 있습니다. 그리고 농촌관광을 사업화하고 있습니다. 지구를 돌보는 여행을 테마로 생태적 영성적 여행을 추구하고 있습니다. 타인과의 비교, 욕망을 내려놓고 몸과 마음을 비우는 여행을 제안합니다. 그래서 농장을 작은 수목원과 정원으로 가꿔가고 있습니다. 배꼽노리라는 이름으로 불리는데 배꼽은 어머니로부터 이어졌던 흔적이고 노리는 어느 부위를 뜻하는 순 우리말이자 놀이의 옛말이기도 합니다.

✅ Introduction to the Host and the Farm :
I am Lee Sang-jik, a farmer and theater artist. I worked as an actor at the National Theater Company of Korea before moving to the countryside in 2010. I am creating a space where work and play, life and art coexist.
Additionally, I am working on developing rural tourism as a business. My farm promotes ecological and spiritual travel with the theme of caring for the Earth. I encourage travelers to let go of comparisons and desires, empty their minds and bodies, and embark on a journey of self-discovery.
For this reason, I am cultivating the farm into a small arboretum and garden. The farm is called Baekkopnori—"baekkop" represents the mark connecting us to our mothers, and "nori" is a native Korean word referring to a body part, as well as the old word for "play."

오전에는 호스트와 함께 시원한 대나무 숲 속에서 작업을 했습니다. 매우 열심히 일하는 호스트여서 함께 일하는 것이 즐거웠습니다. 오후에는 친절한 이웃들과 이야기도 나누고 아름다운 경치를 보며 산책도 하며 풍성한 시간을 보냈습니다. 호스트의 부인과 이야기를 나누거나 집을 보여주신 것도 흥미로웠습니다. 밤에는 멋진 판소리를 들려주셔서 기뻤습니다. 감사합니다.

I had a really peaceful experience here with a lot of friendly people. The work was hard but rewarding and the food we got made sure we were energised for the day! There were also lots of friendly and welcoming people at the farm.

The farm is very nice and peaceful! We only stayed a few days but still had an unforgettable experience. Being a vegetarian I was a bit worried about how this would be catered to but the meals were always very nourishing with different delicious side dishes. The work was not easy but they made sure we had plenty of breaks and the working hours were well adapted to the hot summer weather.

Lilli Handschug (Germany) : I've been on this farm for three weeks and couldn't be happier. My host 산직 is incredibly friendly and he, his wife and the other wwoofers have made me feel incredibly welcome. The work is not too strenuous and we always eat the delicious side dishes and rice together. They have taken me to different temples and shown me the area, which has allowed me to get closer to the culture. They are also great at helping me learn Korean and motivating me to speak more every day. The area here is beautiful and I'm glad to have seen this part of Korea. If you want to have a great time wwoofing in korea, you should definitely come here.

Gahee KO (Korea) : 뒤에는 산이, 앞에는 강물이 흐르는 아름답고 포근한 곳에서 9일을 보냈습니다.
호스트인 상직 삼촌의 대봉감 농장과 산을 돌보고 정리하는 일을 했어요. 처음 해보는 우핑으로 와본 이 곳에서 지역도, 농장도 다 생소했던 저에게 선물같이 아름답고 좋은 곳이었습니다. 자연농 하시는 삼촌을 보며 예술과 철학 그리고 친환경까지 다양한 삶의 가치와 즐거움을 배우고 느낄 수 있었습니다. 오전에 4시간밖에 일을 안해서 나머지 시간엔 자연 속에서 흠뻑 빠져 있었고 삼촌이 해주시는 이야기를 듣다 보면 정말 시간 가는 줄 몰랐었네요.
삼촌에게서 여러 가지 것들을 배웠습니다. 그리고 구례의 아름다운 산과 강, 새, 나무, 풀, 귀여운 동물친구들(배꼽이, 율무, 까뮈, 노리 등)에게서 많은 사랑과 응원과 희망을 배워갑니다.
겨울의 끝을 지나면서, 그리고 긴 여정을 앞두고 이곳에 올 수 있었던 것은 큰 행운이자 행복이었습니다. 유곡마을 작은 누룩실에서 느끼고 지나간 것을 기억하고 마음에 새기겠습니다. 큰 보탬이 되었을지 모르겠지만 다음에 또 와서 손길이 닿았던 곳의 다른 계절을 느끼고 돌보고 싶어요. :-)! 우핑을 고민하는 분들께 강력히 추천하는 농장입니다.

Jungin Kang (Korea) : 저의 첫 우핑지 구례의 작은 누룩실에서 보낸 3주간의 시간은 제 인생에 잊을 수 없는 경험입니다. 십여 년 산을 가꾸고 돌보신 삼촌의 삶에 대한 철학과 예술에 대한 확고한 신념을 가까이서 보고 들을 수 있어서 영광입니다. 겨울에서 봄으로 넘어가는 시점, 주된 농사일은 산의 칡을 제거하는 일이었습니다. 따뜻해질 무렵에는 씨앗이나 모종을 심기도 했고요. 하루에 일하는 시간이 4시간으로 많지 않아서 남는 시간에는 아름다운 농장 풍경과 함께 책도 읽고, 호스트님을 따라 구례나 구례 주변의 지역들을 구경할 수 있었어요. 유쾌하고 재밌는 마을 주민분들도 기억에 많이 남습니다. 메일을 드렸을 때부터 지내는 곳에 대해 염려하셨는데 많이 배려해 주셔서 저는 잘 누리다 왔습니다. 환경을 해치지 않으면서 지속 가능하고 나와 남이 모두 행복한, 호스트님과 호스트님 가족분들이 꿈꾸는 프로젝트들이 앞으로 어떻게 실현될지 궁금하고 기대됩니다. 오늘날 예술이 나아가야 할 방향에 대한 고민이 있는 분, 다양한 농촌에서 삶의 방식이 궁금한 분, 특별한 경험을 원하는 분들께 이 농장을 추천합니다!
Ce fut mon premier wwoof et je ne l'oublierai pas tellement ce fut bien ! L’hôte, comme un vrai artiste, il m’a changé d’avis sur l’art que j’ai gardé jusqu’à maintenant par l’éducation ordinaire. Il voudrait créer une communauté avec la Nature, la Spiritualité et l’Art dans sa ferme. Lui et sa famille ont tas de projet à réaliser pas à pas. J’étais très heureuse d’être avec eux pour 3 semaines.
J’ai fait plusieurs activités variées quand il faisait encore froid à l’arrivée du printemps : enlever les racines et les tiges de maranta en montagne ( Désolée, marante,mais t’es notre ennemi ! ), semis, restauration de le hangar ( l’espace pour les wwoofers, pas de toilette ou salle de bain, vous pouvez partager chez l’hôte, 8 mins à pied ) et les airbnbs qu’ils gèrent. Le temps de travail n’est pas vraiment beaucoup ( 3-4 H par jours ) du coup je pouvais lire, voyager, rencontrer des gens sympas. J’ai aimé la découverte de la ville Gu-rye et des environs ! Je recommande cette ferme en particulier à ceux qui sont intéressés par l’Art, les différents types de mode de vie qui sont durables, écologiques. Je remercie à monsieur Lee et sa femme, son neuve.
