I stayed at the Hyerim Farm for 2 weeks in June. This was already my fourth wwoofing experience in Korea and I was still able to experience something completely new. Hyerim Farm is a natural Farm so a lot is left to nature and quite different from what I have experienced so far. Nevertheless there is still a lot of work to do since the farm is sooo big. I always worked early in the morning and late afternoon to avoid the brutal Korean summer heat. Since it was still a little bit early for the Blueberry harvest, I mainly did weeding tasks around the (blueberry) trees. We always had 3 meals together and the food was truly special. All the vegetables are grown through natural farming methods at the farm, so while at the farm you are able to enjoy some very delicious and healthy(!) food. During my stay I also met several People who visited the farm and 2 other employees working at the farm. All of them welcomed me very nicely. On one of my days off the Host was so kind to drive me into the city so I could do some exploring on my own. Also there is a trekking path around the farm, which lets you explore the whole farm. If you want to learn more about 100% natural farming Hyerim Farm is definitely for you!
