영어소통 : 기본적인 대화 가능 ✅ 일주일 기준 우핑시간 : 하루5시간 주5일 ======== English explanation ========== ✅ Introduction to the Host and the Farm : My farm is a small healing farm located in Paju. We grow a variety of herbs, edible flowers, vegetables (mainly beans), and native Korean crops. The farm is designed to offer a space where people can experience recovery and connection in nature. We are planning programs that combine natural healing and rural experiences. The farm is surrounded by mountains, rice paddies, and open fields, creating a peaceful and calm atmosphere. The host used to live in Seoul and moved to the countryside alone to start farming. Through the experience of being vegan, she developed an interest in agriculture and began farming. She pursues and practices a healthy, environmentally friendly, and grateful life. ✅ Year Farming Started : 2024 ✅ Farm Type : Small-scale farm, healing farm ✅ Main Crops : Beans, perilla seeds, herbs (mint, rosemary, coriander, etc.), native Korean crops ✅ Eco-Friendly Farming Practices : No chemical fertilizers or herbicides are used. Instead, compost and fermented liquid fertilizers are made and applied. Plastic mulching is avoided — cut grass is used as natural mulch. ✅ Eco-Friendly Lifestyle Practices : Avoiding new product consumption, reusing and purchasing second-hand goods, reducing meat consumption and eating a mostly plant-based diet. ✅ People You Can Meet Besides the Host : Participants in healing programs, members of a local gardening club, and occasionally visiting family members. ✅ Pets on the Farm : None ✅ Pets allowed: indoor access and overnight stay permitted. ✅ Tasks for WWOOFers : Year-round Activities: Preparing fields, building gabions, developing cooking and play activities using natural materials and harvests, making compost, and producing liquid fertilizers. -Mar–May: Preparing seedlings, sowing native seeds, planting herbs, preparing soil, planting trees, making compost, and managing weeds -Jun–Aug: Planting beans, harvesting herbs, and managing weeds -Sep–Nov: Harvesting perilla and beans, harvesting herbs, and managing weeds ✅ Preferred WWOOFers : Those who enjoy working with a smile and are willing to share ideas (especially about permaculture) to help build the farm together. ✅ Message to WWOOFers :We welcome WWOOFers who are comfortable getting their hands dirty and being around insects. As a beginner farmer, the host is still learning and making mistakes — but this offers a valuable opportunity to experience the early challenges of farming and to grow together. I hope we can create lasting memories as we build something meaningful together. ✅ Wi-Fi Availability in Accommodation : No ✅ Alcohol and Smoking Policy : Occasional drinking and outdoor smoking allowed ✅ Meals with the Host : 1–2 shared meals per day; ingredients will be provided for other meals for self-cooking ✅ English Communication : Basic conversation possible ✅ WWOOFing Hours Per Week : 5 hours per day, 5 days a week

I had a wonderful 2 months at Eum Farm. Seoyeon was so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was very comfortable and it was nice have my own private space. The work was quite gentle we harvested pumkins, beans, radish, carrots and more. As well as planting spinach and digging a patch for planting rice. Seoyeon provided all the food ingredients and bought me bread and jam for breakfast as I had said that is what i usually had. On days that we were working she would cook us lunch and we would sometimes have dinner together as well. As I was there in October and November, the weather was cooler but very comfortable. I had a great time and I hope to be able to visit again!

Seoyeon's Ieum Healing farm was exactly that, a healing experience. I enjoyed learning about her farm and the different beans and herbs she grows. Seoyeon ensures that you get everything you could want out of the experience. It was a refreshing and rejuvenating experience, and it only motivated me to learn more about farming and sustainability. Thank you for the magical stay, Seoyeon!

There’s something comforting about talking with Josephine :) She worked hard, always looking for ways to stay active, and she even has the energy to enjoy good food and have fun. :D I felt like I was recharged by her youthful energy! We had so much to talk about — from our interest in children to our care for nature. See you again soon!!
