대학에서 교수로 재직후 2013년 제주에 내려와 농장을 가꿨습니다.
저희농장은 "예술치유농장(Art Farm)"을 표방하고 있습니다.
정신장애인들의 예술작품(art brut, outsider art)을 보여주는 작은 전시장이 있으며, 로즈마리, 녹차, 황칠 등과 같은 약용식물을 재배하며, 약 2 Km 정도의 생태탐방로가 농장에 있으며, 풍광이 수려한 장소라서 정신장애인을 포함한 방문자들에게 "치유 프로그램을 운영"하고 있습니다. 1년에 2차례 전시회 등을 농장에서 열고 있습니다.
생태복지 강의를 본 농장에서 일반인, 사회복지사, 장애인 등을 대상으로 이미 수백명에게 강의를 하였습니다.

✅ 생활에서 친환경 실천 사항 : 개인적으로도 가능한 자동차를 타지 않고 걷거나 자전거 타기를 좋아하며 육식보다 채식위주의 식단을 선호 합니다. 남의 생산물을 구매하는 소비자보다 스스로 생산하는 생산자 입장(텃밭 가꾸기 같은)에서 일상생활을 하려고 노력하고 있습니다.

✅ Introduction to the Host and the Farm :
After serving as a university professor, I moved to Jeju in 2013 to cultivate this farm.
Our farm identifies itself as an “Art Healing Farm.” We run a small exhibition space that showcases artworks by people with mental disabilities (art brut, outsider art). We also grow medicinal plants such as rosemary, green tea, and Dendropanax morbifera (Hwangchil), and maintain an ecological trail of about 2 km. With its beautiful landscape, the farm provides healing programs for visitors, including those with mental disabilities. Twice a year, we also host exhibitions on the farm.
We have offered numerous ecological welfare lectures here, reaching hundreds of people including the general public, social workers, and people with disabilities.

✅ Eco-Friendly Lifestyle Practices : In daily life, I prefer walking or cycling over driving, and I follow a mostly plant-based diet rather than meat. Instead of being a consumer of others’ products, I strive to live as a producer—growing my own food in small kitchen gardens whenever possible.
